When shopping at the Marblehead Sport Shop’s Internet Store, any personal information that you may share with us is kept absolutely private. Neither your name nor anything about you is shared with or sold, given or traded to any outside company or agency.
The information you provide during Checkout
We ask for your name, address and contact information so we can send you your order, and so we can contact you if we have a question about your order. We ask for credit card information so we can fulfill your order, and so we can provide this information to the company or companies who process your credit card payment. We do not share any other information with third parties. We do not share or sell email addresses.
Email special offers
We ask for your email address so we may provide you with information about sales, events and other pertinent information. We do not sell or share email addresses with any third parties. We do use email as a means of receiving feedback from our customers, and we encourage you to email us with your questions or comments. We read every email we receive.
Security
At the Marblehead Sport Shop’s Internet Store we take your security very seriously. We go to great lengths to keep your financial information private and safe. All credit transactions occur in a secure area of our site, to protect you from any loss, misuse or alteration of information collected. You can purchase online with confidence.
We use Secure Socket Layers (SSL), the industry standard in transferring information to process your orders. The SSL encrypts, or translates, your order information into a highly indecipherable code, which is processed immediately. When you've finished shopping and begin the checkout process, you will move into the secure area of our site. A warning window may pop up to notify you that you are entering this "safe" area. Once you've entered, the page address (URL) will change from http to https, to let you know you are in a secure area. Also, a key or a closed lock will appear in the lower left hand corner of your screen to notify you of this change. You will remain in this secure zone for the entire checkout process.
Shipping Policy
We offer FREE ground shipping (does not include the handling charge) on all orders over $300 in the Continental United States.
When choosing a shipping method, please keep in mind that delivery times are calculated in business days. Weekends, Holidays and the day of the shipment do not count towards the delivery time.
*Please Note that UPS does NOT guarantee Residential Next Day deliveries. No refunds will be issued for next day charges to residential addresses.
Handling Charge
A handling fee of $4.99 will be charged to every order. This is included in the shipping total on the checkout page.
Oversize Items:
Goalie Leg Pads, multiple sticks (more than 4) and multiple pucks (more than 6), Goals, Wet Gear Racks and some large bags are subject to additional shipping costs.
Standard Shipping:
Orders received by 2:00 PM EST will be shipped the same day (Monday through Friday). Allow 5-7 business days for delivery. We ship either USPS or UPS Ground for standard shipping. If you have a preference you can let us know in the comment box on your order.
2nd Day Shipping:
Orders received by 2:00 PM EST will ship same day and arrive in 2 business days (Monday - Friday).
Overnight Shipping:
Orders received by 2:00 PM EST will ship the same day and arrive the next business day. There is an additional $ charge for Saturday delivery. This charge will be automatically calculated during checkout.
Armed Forces Customers (AA, AE, AP Addresses)
We will gladly ship to APO, FPO addresses. All packages will ship US Postal Service Priority Mail and a shipping quote will be provided upon receipt of your order.
Canadian and European Orders
We will gladly ship to Canada and Europe. All packages will ship US Postal Service Priority Mail and a shipping quote will be provided upon receipt of your order.
Accepted Forms of Payment
We accept: Master Card, Visa, Discover, American Express credit cards as well as Pay Pal payments.
Return Policy
If you need to return an item for any reason, please call for a return authorization number. No shipments will be accepted without this number. Your return must be received within 30 days of your invoice date. Absolutely no returns will be accepted after 30 days for any reason.
Please do not use the original packaging of the item as your shipping box. Doing so will result in the return/exchange being denied. Items must arrive in their original packaging and must be wrapped or boxed to prevent damage to the manufacturer's original packaging. At our discretion, returns that arrive in any condition other than described above (new and able to be resold as such) may be refused and returned to the sender. Items returned without the proper packaging are subject to a 50% re-stocking fee if accepted. If the products are damaged in shipping due to the lack of proper packaging the customer making the return will be responsible for all fees necessary to repair or replace the product.
Ø Used items are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.
Ø Freight is the responsibility of the customer for returns of any reason.
Ø Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
Ø DO NOT Sharpen skates until you are sure they fit. Sharpened skates are NOT exchangeable or returnable. Due to health regulations, we cannot accept returns on any jock or underwear items for any reason.
